A1200NG motherboard revision 3A

The A1200NG motherboard fits into original Commodore 1200, Escom 1200 and reproduction desktop cases. The ports align with the holes in the case using the supplied backplate.

AmiBench is the desktop pre-installed with many famous classic applications such as Final Writer, OctaMED, Directory Opus, HippoPlayer, YAM and AmiBrowser modern web browser. Create your own boot system: A1200NG supports installing of multiple operating systems with the corresponding ROMs. You can boot directly into any of the OS you have installed on the system.

Speed Performance
The A1200NG delivers the following SysInfo speed rating of 257 MIPs or 303 MIPs in with the optional CPU Boost Kit installed and activated.

Floppy Disk Drive Compatibility
The A1200NG is compatible with the following floppy disk drives (not supplied):

PC compatible 1.44MB drive

Commodore original 880K / 1.76MB drive drive

It is recommended to use original 600 / 1200 floppy disk drives to fit into an original case.

¹ single 9-pin joystick port is available on motherboard and a second 9-pin joystick port is attached using a plug in board (product option).

The A1200NG is available for ordering. We are pleased to confirm that delivery of the pre-orders has started in April and continues in September 2025. Due to it's popularity, please allow extra time for assembly and fulfillment of this product.
